ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION SUPPORT & MANAGEMENT

Get the knowledge and skills for entry-level positions within a wide-range of businesses and government agencies.  Course work covers communication and organizational skills, business knowledge, computer application skills—including digital media, desktop publishing, and Microsoft Office applications.

COMPOSITES

Composite manufacturing produces lightweight, strong and moldable products in a variety of shapes.  Jobs in the composites area include: aircraft parts, aerospace assemblies, automobile components, boating industry, civil engineering applications, space travel vehicles, and sports products. Learn basic and advanced composite material, part-development, and safety practices.

COMPUTER FORENSICS

Take a “byte” out of cybercrime.

These digital forensic courses give students the skills to analyze computers & cell phones used in crimes and put bad guys behind bars.  If you’re a little bit Sherlock Holmes and a little bit Bill Gates, check out a career in computer forensics.

DIGITAL COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY 

Enter the fast growing field of digital media.  You’ll gain essential skills in digital video, digital audio, web development, 3D modeling and animation, and digital design

ELECTRICAL AUTOMATION & ROBOTICS TECHNOLOGY

Many different occupations are found within the electrical trades: construction, fabrication, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, testing and design.  Learn about automatic control systems, AC and DC control components, motors, programmable control, microprocessors, computers and robots.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

Earn a certificate in the Emergency Medical Technician Program and enter the healthcare sector.  We’ll prepare you to obtain an Associate Degree (or even a Bachelor’s Degree) in an accelerated format complete with tutoring.

GAS & PETROLEUM TECH

Learn how a rig works, how wells are drilled, gas measurement and calibration, and how to work safely on a drilling rig.  Completers will receive an IADC Certification.

HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Medical Informatics, Billing, and Health Care Systems

Be a part of the new health information technology workforce.  Make a difference in patients’ lives—improving quality, safety and efficiency of health care.  One-year Certificate program.  Classes start January, 2013.

INDUSTRIAL MECHANICS

Create, Fix, & Maintain Equipment

Get the skills you need to succeed in the high-paying, high-demand manufacturing & industrial technology fields. If you like to work with your hands and work on high-tech machinery, this is the career for you. One-year Certificate and AAS degrees available.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Hardware, operating systems, application software, local & wide area networking, programming & internet development are part of this program that prepares you for this fast-paced environment.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

This program gives you solid skills in computer operations, IT support (Help Desk), systems administration, networking, information security, database fundamentals, programming, and web development.

MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY

Create, Fix, & Maintain Equipment

Get the skills you need to succeed in the high-paying, high-demand manufacturing & industrial technology fields. If you like to work with your hands and work on high-tech machinery, this is the career for you. One-year Certificate and AAS degrees available.

MECHATRONICS TECHNOLOGY

This is a hybrid discipline that utilizes the principles of computer science, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering to produce complex computer controlled electro-mechanical systems.

MEDIA DESIGN

Use computer software applications to create commercial art, animation and websites.  Learn programming languages and the basics of graphic design.

MEDICAL ASSISTING

Do laboratory testing, phlebotomy, vital signs, medical administration and other patient care skills to assist physicians. Includes a non-paid externship in a medical office.

MEDICAL LABORATORY ASSISTANT

Earn a certificate in the Medical Lab Technology Program and enter the healthcare sector.  We’ll prepare you to obtain an Associate Degree (or even a Bachelor’s Degree) in an accelerated format complete with tutoring.
